Hewitts Home Renovations replaces fascias, soffits, bargeboards and guttering across Hitchin and villages including Ickleford, Pirton, Offley, St Ippolyts. We are based near Huntingdon, about 40 minutes away.
Timber roofline that has been painted for decades eventually rots, and in Hitchin with Georgian and Victorian townhouses around the Market Place, 1930s semis on the Bearton and Walsworth estates, and 1960s to 80s homes towards Westmill we see a lot of it. We remove the old boards completely (no capping over rotten timber), check the rafter ends, fit new uPVC fascias and ventilated soffits, and hang new guttering with the correct fall.
uPVC roofline never needs painting, keeps birds and wasps out of the roof space and comes with a 10-year guarantee. We work from scaffold or towers as the property requires and take away all the old material.
