Windows

What types of windows do you install?

We offer uPVC, aluminium, and heritage-style sliding sash windows. All come with double or triple glazing, thermal efficiency ratings from A+ to B, and full security features.

How long do windows last?

Modern uPVC windows typically last 20-30 years or more with proper maintenance. Timber windows can last 50+ years. We use only premium-grade materials built to last.

Will new windows reduce my heating bills?

Yes. Modern double or triple-glazed windows dramatically reduce heat loss. Many customers see 10-15% savings on heating bills, especially when combined with loft or wall insulation.

What about condensation on new windows?

Condensation on the inside is actually a sign your windows are working — they're keeping warm air in. It usually disappears with ventilation. If it persists, we can discuss your home's ventilation.

Can you repair broken window seals?

Yes. We offer misted unit replacement and sealed unit repair for existing windows. It's often more affordable than full window replacement.

Do you replace windows in listed buildings?

Yes. We specialise in heritage-style windows that meet conservation requirements while improving efficiency.

Doors

What's the difference between composite and uPVC doors?

Composite doors are more durable, more secure, and require less maintenance. They come in a wider range of colours and finishes. uPVC is more affordable but less robust. Both are excellent — it depends on your budget and preferences.

How secure are your composite doors?

Extremely. All our composite doors come with multi-point locking systems, reinforced frames, and meeting British security standards. We often recommend composite for front doors due to superior security.

Can you repair my existing door?

Many issues can be repaired — hinges, locks, seals, glass units. We'll assess and advise. Sometimes repair is more cost-effective than replacement.

How long does door installation take?

Most doors take 1-2 days to install. We'll confirm exact timing when you book.

Do you install bifold or sliding doors?

Yes. We install aluminium bifold doors and patio sliding doors, perfect for opening up living spaces to gardens.

🏠

Conservatories

What styles of conservatory do you offer?

We build Victorian, Edwardian, Lean-to, and P-shaped conservatories. All are bespoke-designed to suit your home and budget.

Can I use my conservatory year-round?

Modern conservatories are much better insulated than older ones, but for true year-round comfort we recommend a warm roof upgrade (integrated insulated roof system).

Do I need planning permission?

Most conservatories don't need planning permission if they meet size and style criteria. We'll advise you during the quote process.

How long does construction take?

Typical conservatory builds take 2-4 weeks depending on weather and complexity.

Process

How do I get a quote?

Call us on 07746 246389 or fill in our form. We'll arrange a free site visit, measure up, and provide a detailed quote with no obligation.

Is there any charge for a quote?

No. All quotes are free and carry no obligation to proceed.

How long does the quote process take?

Usually 5-7 working days from your initial enquiry. We respond to all enquiries within one working day.

What happens after I accept a quote?

We'll confirm your installation date, take a deposit (typically 20%), and agree final timings. We'll then prepare your project and confirm the day before work begins.

Do you work weekends?

We can arrange weekend work by agreement, though weekday installation is preferred for safety and quality.

Will there be disruption during installation?

Minimally. We keep site tidy, protect your home, and work efficiently. Most customers say it's far less disruptive than they expected.

💰

Pricing

What factors affect the cost?

Size, frame material (uPVC vs aluminium), glazing type (double vs triple), and any custom features all affect cost. We provide a detailed price breakdown in every quote.

Do you offer discounts for multiple windows/doors?

Yes. We typically offer package discounts when replacing multiple items at once.

Can I pay in stages?

Yes. We work with customers on flexible payment plans. Discuss this during your quote.

What's included in the price?

Full installation, debris removal, site protection, and full testing. Our quotes are transparent — what you see is what you pay.

✓

Warranty

What warranty do you offer?

We provide a 10-year warranty on all installations and workmanship. If anything goes wrong, we fix it free.

What does the warranty cover?

It covers workmanship and materials. Glass typically has a separate manufacturer warranty (often 10-15 years). We'll provide full warranty documentation.

Do you offer any guarantees?

100% satisfaction guarantee — if we don't meet your expectations, we'll fix it at no charge.

❓
