Front doors, back doors, French doors, bifolds and patio doors supplied and fitted in Hitchin. Local door fitters with free quotes.
If you are looking for door fitters in Hitchin, Hewitts Home Renovations supplies and installs every type of external door: composite and uPVC front doors, back doors, French doors, aluminium and uPVC bifold doors, sliding patio doors and heritage-style doors for period properties. We are a local company based near Huntingdon, about 40 minutes from Hitchin.
Hitchin has Georgian and Victorian townhouses around the Market Place, 1930s semis on the Bearton and Walsworth estates, and 1960s to 80s homes towards Westmill. We fit doors in all of them, from a single replacement back door to a full set of bifolds opening onto the garden. Because we measure and fit ourselves rather than subcontracting, the person who quotes your job is the person who makes sure it is done properly.
All of our doors in Hitchin are fitted with high-security multipoint locks, energy-efficient glazing and a 10-year guarantee. We also repair doors: dropped hinges, failed locks, broken handles and misted glass can often be fixed for a fraction of the cost of replacement.
