Classic double doors that open your living space to the garden. uPVC or aluminium, made to measure, secure and energy efficient.
French doors are a pair of hinged doors that open outwards or inwards to give a wide, unobstructed opening onto a garden, patio or balcony. They suit almost every style of home, from Victorian terraces to modern builds, and are the most cost-effective way to bring more light into a room and connect it to the outside.
Hewitts Home Renovations supplies and fits French doors in uPVC and aluminium. uPVC French doors offer excellent value and insulation with a choice of white, grey, black and woodgrain finishes. Aluminium French doors have slimmer frames, larger glass areas and are available in any RAL colour, making them a good match for aluminium bifolds and windows elsewhere in the home.
Both options come with A-rated double or triple glazing, multipoint locking on the master door, shoot bolts on the slave door, anti-snap cylinders and low thresholds. We can add matching side panels or top lights to fill wider openings, and Georgian bars or astragal bars for a traditional look.
Installation usually takes a day. We remove the old doors or window, fit the new frame, doors and cill, seal and trim inside and out, and take away all waste. Every set is covered by our 10-year guarantee.
